Indux Slide – Recessed Outlets with Sliding Covers and USB

Discover Indux Slide, a stylish collection of compact built-in outlets for kitchen countertops, kitchen islands, desks, and furniture. The series combines modern design with practical power supply and integrated USB charging capabilities. Thanks to the smart sliding mechanism, the electrical outlets remain neatly concealed when not in use. This creates a sleek and uncluttered countertop without permanently visible outlets.

The Indux Slide built-in outlets combine one grounded outlet with a USB-A or USB-C port in a compact housing with an elegant stainless steel finish. With a required cutout of just 60 mm, these kitchen outlets offer a space-saving solution for modern kitchens where functionality and a minimalist look take center stage.

Kitchen Outlet with Practical Sliding Cover

The key feature of Indux Slide is its integrated sliding mechanism. Unlike traditional outlets with permanently visible connections, this series features a sliding cover.

When you want to plug in an electrical appliance or charge your smartphone, simply slide the cover aside. This reveals the grounded outlet and the USB port. After use, slide the cover back into place, neatly concealing the connections.

This practical design ensures a clean and uncluttered look for your countertop. Especially in modern designer kitchens, minimalist interiors, and luxury kitchen islands, a built-in outlet with a sliding cover offers a stylish alternative to freestanding power strips and exposed wall outlets.

Compact built-in outlets for kitchen countertops

Indux Slide is designed for installation in a compatible kitchen countertop or cabinet. Thanks to its compact dimensions, an additional power source can be integrated without requiring a large cutout.

The built-in outlets are 100 mm wide, 70 mm deep, and 89 mm high. Installation requires a round mounting hole with a diameter of 60 mm.

This compact design makes Indux Slide particularly suitable for smaller kitchen countertops, kitchen islands, and cabinets where installation space is limited.

When determining the correct mounting position, ensure there is sufficient clearance beneath the countertop for the housing and the electrical connection.

Kitchen Outlet with USB-A or USB-C

In addition to a traditional grounded outlet, Indux Slide offers an integrated USB charging port. This allows electrical appliances and compatible mobile devices to be connected from the same compact built-in unit.

Depending on the model selected, the Indux Slide features:

• 1 grounded outlet: for plugging in suitable electrical appliances, such as a coffee maker, food processor, or laptop.
• USB-A: a convenient charging port for smartphones, tablets, and other devices with a compatible USB charging cable.
• USB-C: a modern USB port for charging compatible mobile devices without a separate power adapter.

The USB port depends on the model you choose. This allows you to select a kitchen outlet that matches your electrical setup and the devices you want to use.

By combining a grounded outlet and a USB charging port in a single compact housing, separate USB adapters are needed less often, and your countertop stays uncluttered.

Available with Type E pin grounding and Type F edge grounding

The Indux Slide collection offers two models with different grounded outlets and USB ports.

• Indux Slide Type F edge grounding: a compact recessed outlet with one grounded Type F outlet and one USB-C port. This grounding system is used in the Netherlands and Germany, among other countries.
• Indux Slide Type E grounded outlet: a compact recessed outlet with one grounded Type E outlet and one USB-A port. This grounding system is used in Belgium and France, among other countries.

Both models have the same compact base dimensions and an elegant stainless steel-colored finish. The difference lies in the type of grounded outlet and the USB port included.

When ordering, please verify which grounding system and which type of USB port are suitable for your intended application.

Modern stainless steel look for a minimalist kitchen

Indux Slide features a stylish stainless steel-colored finish that complements modern kitchen appliances, stainless steel sinks, and kitchen faucets in brushed stainless steel.

The compact housing and sliding cover create a subtle appearance. As a result, the outlet is a practical addition without drawing unnecessary attention.

An Indux Slide kitchen outlet pairs beautifully with modern countertops made of natural stone, composite, and other suitable kitchen materials. Even in a minimalist kitchen with handle-less cabinet fronts, the compact design contributes to a sleek and harmonious look.

Also suitable for desks and furniture applications

In addition to kitchen countertops, Indux Slide can be installed in suitable desks, work tables, and furniture where an extra power and USB outlet is desired.

On a desk, for example, the built-in outlet provides a practical connection for a laptop, desk lamp, or smartphone. Thanks to the sliding mechanism, the outlets can be neatly concealed when not in use.

A compact built-in outlet with USB can also provide a stylish solution in reception areas, hotel rooms, and modern workspaces.

The combination of a small recessed opening, a grounded outlet, and integrated USB charging makes Indux Slide suitable for a wide range of applications where space-saving and ease of use are important.

Convenient installation with a 60 mm drill hole

Indux Slide outlets are installed in a 60 mm round opening. This requires only a relatively small cutout in the countertop or furniture.

The upper section measures 100 x 70 mm and accommodates the sliding mechanism and the covered connections. The total height is 89 mm.

When installing the outlet, it is important to check the thickness of the countertop, the required installation space, and the available space for the connection cable in advance.

Installation must be performed in accordance with the installation instructions and applicable electrical safety regulations. Do not install the outlet in a location where it may be directly exposed to water or splashes, unless the product specifications and installation instructions explicitly permit such use.
